Ah, sorry, my bad. I'm not very accustomed with those species. Still, she looks fluffy and that's a point in her favor <3

If my memory is right, they lost contact with the homeworld soon after arriving, because of Titan. Invasions had been canceled due to a social upheaval at their homeworld, which saw Titan's 'caste' be thrown out of the seat of power to be replaced by the 'lower caste' to which Silver and co belong to. 'Lower caste' being, as usual, way more numerous than the 'upper caste' to which Titan belong to.

So he broke their communication equipment, to make sure nobody else knew (though I think Darius knew at the time) and went on with the plan to conquer the planet for himself, resulting in the events described in the comic.
