Darius seems to be rather transparent, here. Has it really not occurred to Bane by now that Steele is thinking about (at least the possibility) of making a Dire from himself?

I wonder what Darius solution is, and if I was right about him wanting to make a Dire from himself. Resuming the whole Dire experiment seems quite risky, given the previous results. Even with long and deep psychological assessment beforehand, you can't be sure it won't turn as ugly, or worst, than it did in previous cases.
