I would like to go on record that even though we just met Knight, I already love him due to how he talks.

Due to his name I wanted him to speak kind of regal. He's a reflection of Darius' soul and deep down Darius is a knightly crusader. We've subtly dropped hints for this throughout the comic, mostly in Darius referencing chess moves and having a keen interest in the game.

Fox gave me one stipulation though regarding his dialog. He is not ever to refer to Bane or Fox (or anybody) as 'Milady'. So I am careful to mind that in the comic. It stems from an annoyance of people overusing the term to the point that it sounds kind of trite and flat. So, Knight won't ever say it.

During the Titanfall arc, Darius' code name was "Knight".

He'll have to get a new code name for later operations! ;D
