I feel ambiguous about Darius' decision: on one side, well, to love the two sides of the woman he loves he did the right thing; on the other, a Dire is not just "part of oneself", but also an individual by itself, one more living being in the world. He also got very lucky with Knight, as if other examples taught us something is that Dires do not necessarily show the same point of view of the creator. And Darius also deprived himself of something.

Let's see where this will go. I hope for the best.

This will be interesting to see how Knight develops. He is most at his basic here, and could become very different as time goes on. Let's hope that Knight and Bane can at least be good friends if nothing else.

The second-biggest concern I have (first was: will knight be sane... seems okay on that one) is: How, if at all, will a loss of instincts affect Darius' tactical ability?
