Darius had little choice there. While I believe Artemis could have maintained the charade, Silver is clearly not made for that kind of deception, and Ammolite would have seen right through him.

The accusation is a bit far-fetched, but understandable under the circumstances. Artemis should realize why it was necessary once feelings have calmed down a bit and she'd had time to think about it.

Also, Darius is probably going to need some help to really get the delivery of the apology fish right.

He's going to need Marcus, Cobalt, and possibly Aileeron and a couple other really strong helpers to at least lift the entire tray of feesh to Artemis.

Or better yet, just have them flip an entire 1000+ pound single feesh from one tray onto a second tray in front of Artemis with a resounding THUD!

I might also want to see Artemis' surprised expression when the fish hits the table.
